Why the Campfire is the Perfect 21st Century Learning Tool

Too often when speaking of 21st Century Learners we fall into the assumption we are speaking of instructional technology. Today's learners are indeed different then those a generation before and today's educators need tools and strategies on how to best support their students. Join Rob Ridley, Field Centres Coordinator for the Peel District School Board (@RangerRidley, moderator of #EnviroEd chat Wednesday nights) for an enchanting day of outdoor learning and strategies for using an old fashion campfire as the perfect learning tool in your classroom, and, where possible beyond your classroom.

Participants should be ready for outdoor experiences and therefore dress for the weather. Each participant will also build their own indoor electrical campfire. Materials will be provided.
