Come join Gokoomis (Grandmother) Jacque(line) Lavallee from Shawanaga First Nation and Dr. Hopi Martin Oshkaabewis (Ceremonial Helper, Messenger, and Fire Keeper) as we share teachings and stories about Bear Moon and how they relate to living a Good Life with our children and families living close to Mother Earth. Free event with donations being directed to the Land as First Teacher Fund which was created to support Indigenous families accessing conservation lands and land-based teachings.

Tickets are  by donation, all donations go to the Land as First Teacher Fund. Your donation to the Land as Our First Teacher Fund will contribute to making conservation lands and learning accessible to urban Indigenous children and their families by supporting program and material costs, and the participation of Indigenous knowledge keepers and elders who contribute to land-based Indigenous education.
