Come join Gokoomis (Grandmother) Jacque/line Lavallee from Shawanaga First Nation and Dr. Hopi Martin Oshkaabewis (Ceremonial Helper and Fire Keeper) on March 1, 2022 from 6-8pm for Ziizbaakdooke Dibiki-Giizis (Ojibwe Maple Sugar Moon) Teachings! Each New Moon we will be talking about how these land-based, Traditional Ojibwe Teachings can support children and families as they learn to walk gently together on Mother Earth.

Tickets are  by donation, all donations go to the Land as our First Teacher Fund. Your donation to the Land as Our First Teacher Fund will contribute to making conservation lands and learning accessible to to urban Indigenous children, youth, families, and Elders in support of Traditional Land-based learning opportunities.
